Traffic Restrictions in Yeouido for the Seoul International Fireworks Festival — Saturday, September 5

Dear Driver Partners, this is the TADA Team.

The Seoul International Fireworks Festival will take place at Yeouido Hangang Park on Saturday, September 5. Extensive road restrictions will be in place throughout the Yeouido area that day.

Restrictions on Wonhyo Bridge will begin on Friday, September 4. Please keep these restrictions in mind when planning your routes.

Main Restriction Period

Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to midnight

Affected Area

Yeouido Hangang Park and surrounding areas

1. Which roads will be restricted?

The following restrictions will apply from 3:00 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, September 5.

Yeouidong-ro — Closed to all vehicles

From the southern end of Mapo Bridge to the front of the 63 Building.
Saturday, September 5, from 3:00 p.m. to midnight

Parc.1 Tower to Yeoui-dong Community Service Center — Limited vehicle access

Police will check vehicles at each intersection.
Only vehicles belonging to apartment residents and vehicles associated with the event will be allowed to enter.
Saturday, September 5, from 3:00 p.m. to midnight

Access roads to the 63 Building from Olympic-daero and Nodeul-gil — Restrictions as needed

There is no fixed restriction schedule.
Police will close or reopen these roads depending on conditions at the scene.

Extended closures on Wonhyo Bridge

Wonhyo Bridge will be fully closed to traffic for fireworks setup and cleanup during the following periods.

· Friday, September 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
· Saturday, September 5, at 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, September 6, at 3:00 a.m.
· Sunday, September 6, from 8:00 a.m. to noon

You will not be able to cross the river via Wonhyo Bridge during these times.

2. Which alternative routes can I take?

The event organizer has provided the following alternative routes.

Yeoui-daero, Uisadang-daero, Mapo-ro, Wonhyo-ro, Hangang-ro, Nodeul-gil, and Noryangjin-ro

3. The parking lot in front of the 63 Building will also be closed

The Yeouido Hangang Park parking lot in front of the 63 Building will be closed from 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, to midnight on Saturday, September 5. If you usually wait for ride requests in this parking lot, please arrange an alternative location in advance.

4. Can I receive ride requests in the restricted area?

On-demand and scheduled ride requests will be restricted in the affected area during the restriction period. You will not receive ride requests in this area, so please operate outside the restricted zone.

💡 Please Keep in Mind

· Restriction times may change depending on conditions at the scene. Please follow police instructions.

· Access to Yeouinaru Station on Subway Line 5 may be restricted for approximately one hour after the event. Nearby streets may become very crowded as people unable to take the subway move onto the roads.

· When picking up passengers near Yeouido, please call ahead to confirm the pickup location. Vehicles cannot enter the restricted zone.

Traffic around Yeouido is expected to be much heavier than usual on the day of the event. Please drive safely.
