Please review the following passenger policies to ensure a safe and comfortable journey when using our hourly reservation service.
Luggage Capacity Restrictions
You may place your luggage in the trunk for a comfortable ride with TADA.
However, the following restrictions apply to prevent vehicle damage caused by excessive or unsuitable luggage.
[Restricted Luggage and Items]
- TADA operates under the Passenger Transport Service Act. Only accompanied baggage and other items permitted under that Act and the terms and conditions of taxi transportation may be carried.
- Travel suitcases, golf clubs, and golf bags appropriate for the number of passengers may be loaded, provided they do not fall under the restrictions below.
- If you request to load items restricted under TADA’s luggage policy, the driver may be unable to provide the ride, and cancellation or no-show fees will apply. Restricted items and circumstances include:
- Luggage or items weighing 20 kg or more that fall within the scope of freight specified in the Trucking Transport Business Act
- Luggage that is too bulky or too plentiful to fit in the trunk or cargo compartment
- Items that interfere with passenger transportation due to dirt, unpleasant odors, or similar conditions
- Items that pose a safety risk or may damage the vehicle interior
- Transporting luggage without the passenger accompanying it
- Hazardous materials, including explosive, corrosive, or flammable substances
- Items that may be damaged during the ride, such as bicycles, wheelchairs, furniture, and electronics including TVs
- Attempts to bring items on board that cannot reasonably be carried as personal baggage
For TADA PLUS and LIGHT, luggage space may be limited in some vehicle models because an LPG tank is installed in the trunk.
TADA drivers provide transportation services only and are not obligated to assist with loading luggage.
Additional luggage may fit depending on the vehicle. Before boarding, please contact your driver using the privacy-protected phone number in the TADA app, describe your luggage in detail, and confirm whether it can be accommodated.
Seat Belts
To help keep you safe, TADA reminds you to fasten your seat belt through driver instructions and push notifications. In accordance with the requirement to wear seat belts in all seats, which took effect in September 2018, please make sure to fasten your seat belt even if it feels uncomfortable. If you refuse to wear a seat belt despite the driver’s instructions, you may be denied boarding.
Traveling with Pets
Pets are welcome on TADA rides.
However, your pet must be in a dedicated pet carrier or cage. Boarding will be restricted if you do not bring a carrier. If your pet soils or damages the vehicle, you may be charged compensation as follows:
- Soiling the vehicle with vomit or other waste: Actual cleaning costs and compensation for lost business, up to a total of KRW 200,000
- Damage to the vehicle or its interior fixtures: Restoration costs and compensation for lost business
※ Guide dogs may accompany passengers without a carrier or cage, provided they can be identified as assistance dogs by a harness or vest.
※ The carrier or cage must fully enclose your dog’s entire body. Pet sling bags are not permitted.
※ For a safe journey, please keep your pet inside the carrier throughout the ride.
Traveling with Infants and Young Children
Some TADA vehicles are equipped with child car seats. You can select the car seat add-on when making a reservation.
If you are traveling with a child under the age of six, we recommend bringing a child car seat or reserving a vehicle equipped with one for a safe journey. The parent or guardian is responsible for accidents that occur during a ride without a child car seat.
TADA is exploring ways to make travel with infants and young children safer and more widely accessible. We will continue working to ensure that everyone can enjoy a comfortable ride with TADA.
Restrictions on Service Use
TADA strives to provide clean, comfortable vehicles and friendly driver service. To support this, we operate a mutual rating system based on respectful behavior between drivers and passengers.
Drivers may give passengers a negative rating for violating the guidelines below. Repeated negative ratings may result in restrictions on access to TADA services.
Please follow these guidelines to help ensure a safe and comfortable journey for everyone.
Please keep the vehicle clean for the next passenger.
- Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle and may result in an immediate restriction on service use.
- Please refrain from eating or drinking inside the vehicle. Even a slight jolt can cause spills.
- Items provided in the vehicle, such as air fresheners, are TADA property intended for all passengers. Please do not take them with you.
Please help your driver focus on driving safely.
- Threatening behavior toward the driver, including verbal abuse, physical assault, or interference with driving, is strictly prohibited and may result in an immediate restriction on service use.
- TADA drivers follow traffic laws and drive safely. Please do not ask them to speed, run red lights, or engage in other unsafe driving.
- Please avoid excessive noise or playing audio at a high volume inside the vehicle, as this may distract the driver.
